It was September

It was September—  in the fading days,  when sadness came softly,  for no reason,    and stayed.

It comes at night...

It comes at night—    this longing. What shall I do? I let it sit with me,    and say nothing.

Rothko - Red and Black

I crave the heat that sears the bone. Each breath a wound, each touch a vow — I want what breaks me, here and now. For beauty whispers, soft, unkind, “Decay, to leave your truth behind.” So still I crave, with open eyes, the fire — where my ending lies.

Ernst Kirchner - Mädchen mit Katze

I think of you so often, more than words could ever say, in quiet moments, fleeting thoughts that never fade away.   You have no idea, how softly you remain—   a whisper in my every day, a warmth I can’t explain.

Tamara de Lempicka - The Sleeper

But I — I carried it all, the ache that burned, the trembling light, the fierce, unquiet pulse of being. I loved with hands flung open to the sky, reckless, unguarded — and he, with only half a heart to give, was never mine to keep.

Malcolm Liepke - The Red Cherry

She burns through silence,    wild and bright, a storm that dances into night. No cage can hold,    no rule define— the chaos in her is divine.

Silvia Hametaj - Anchor

You are my anchor... You are my anchor   in every storm, my light   when the world goes dark. With you, I face anything,   unshaken,    unbroken,     unafraid. Together, we can go anywhere— to the ends of the earth   and beyond. 🎨Silvia Hametaj

Malgorzata Chodakowska - and my light

The fire burned  too bright for two,  I broke apart, but made it through.  The silence fills the nights    I know— I carry the light     no one can hold.

Love?

We were taught  to name things clearly:      this is love  and      this is not. But life speaks softer—      in shades,      in pauses,      in feelings that do not ask  to be decided. Yes,  there is a way between—  felt by the heart      before thoughts arrive.

Because of you

I found within myself       a quiet, hidden grace,      a brightness long asleep,           without a name or place. Once veiled beneath the noise, it slowly came to light— A beauty always present,  now rising into sight. (Because of you)

Picasso - The Dream

Music slips inside ... Music slips inside,    soft and steady— paintings follow,    framed and near; And my chest lights up,   still burning   with a quiet fire I never learned to name.

Ilia Shanin -

I wait for winter’s tender hush... I wait for winter’s tender hush, for snow to hide me from the world; I’ll drink my cocoa, faint and warm, and watch the pale, unending day. I’ll write to ghost who never write, and read of love that fade away— while silence fills the little house, and time just slowly melts away.

Clarence Gagnon - San Giorgio, Grey Day, Venice

Venice is no city— she is a dream that dreams of you, a veil of desire draped over the skin of the soul. A gentle wound of beauty, fleeting as a kiss in fog— a dream that melts into the mist, yet never fully fades.

Joop Stierhout - Forget-Me-Nots

Forget-Me-Nots Blue spring sky remembers -  a "Never!" lost to silence,  autumn glows in gold.

I wish...

I wish I lived in another time, Another heart, another rhyme, A world that starts—and ends—with you. If dreams could bend the threads of fate, I’d cross the stars; I wouldn’t wait. In that life, so pure, so true, I’d find my home in loving you.

The Ghost of You

I will always love the ghost of you, the shadow painted bright and true. A dream I shaped from borrowed light, that vanished softly into night.  I built a heart from fragile glass, and loved the light that couldn't last. Where once I swore the truth was fair.

Timothy Schmalz - Angels Unawares

Wir wissen, was hinter uns liegt. Niemand weiß, was uns erwartet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tu smo – tesno s...

Bernini - The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa

Ellsworth Kelly - Rubber Plant

Doch wo etwas fiel, blieb kein Nichts. Kein Verlangen. Kein Ziel. Nur etwas, das leise lebendig war. Jetzt wächst dort etwas. Still. Tief. Ich weiß noch nicht, was es ist.
